Piggy Bank Family is designed with family privacy as a core principle. We do not sell your data, show ads, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create a family account, we collect your email address and a password to authenticate you. This is the only personal information required from parents.

Family Data

All data you enter — family names, kids’ names, account balances, transactions, and goals — is stored securely in our database and is only accessible to your family account.

Device Information

We collect minimal device information (push notification token) solely to send you notifications about your kids’ requests. This is optional and can be disabled in your device settings.

Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect real financial data or bank account information • We do not collect location data • We do not collect biometric data (Face ID is processed entirely on your device) • We do not collect data from children under 13 beyond what is necessary to provide the service • We do not show advertisements

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the app’s functionality • To send push notifications about pending requests (if enabled) • To restore your session when you return to the app

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted cloud infrastructure provider. All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. Passwords are never stored in plain text.

Children’s Privacy

Piggy Bank Family is designed for use by families with children. Children’s accounts (kids) are protected by a PIN and managed entirely by the parent account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children independently — all account creation and management is performed by the parent.

Data Deletion

You can delete your family account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at [your support email]. All data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of your request.
